This year, on #GivingTuesday, Chattanooga will have its very own #CHAgives Pop-Up Party where the community can bring items to donate to their favorite non-profit while sharing acts of kindness.
Organizations involved, along with the items they need, will be listed on
CHAgives.org.
Each organization will have their own table at the party where community members can drop off donations and learn more about the non-profit’s impact in the community.
The pop-up party will be held at Miller Plaza, 308 Market St., on Giving Tuesday, Nov.
27 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
“I can’t wait to see the community come together for the pop-up party,” says Julia Wilhelm, content strategist at United Way of Greater Chattanooga. “My favorite part about CHAGives is how all sectors of the community come together to celebrate giving, so I’m looking forward to seeing how the community shows up this year.”
All are welcome to come learn more about local non-profits and hear from Mayor Andy Berke.
This event is free to the public. If your organization would like to have a table at this event, email info@chagives.org.
Event sponsors are Causeway, United Way, Community foundation of Greater Chattanooga, the Generosity Trust, the Bethlehem Center, Chambliss Center for Children, Chattanooga Area Chamber, Chattanooga Area Food Bank, Glass House and the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
